An AI-orchestrated animated movie experiment
This is an experiment in using AI to create a full animated movie. The source material is "Fairy Dinosaur Date Night" — a 68-page screenplay about two kids who must rescue their parents after they accidentally drive through a time warp and get stranded in the Jurassic era.
The entire production pipeline — from screenplay breakdown to character design to animation — is being orchestrated by AI agents using TaskYou, with all work happening in public on GitHub.
The movie is being produced using an AI-first workflow. Tasks are created in TaskYou, which orchestrates Claude Code agents to do the actual work — writing documentation, creating assets, setting up pipelines, and eventually producing animation.
Every change goes through GitHub pull requests, making the entire creative process transparent and reviewable. This is an experiment to see how far AI can go in creative production.
